GOODWILL THRILLS CONTEST

Who: Any fan of Haley Spiers Photography
What: Complete a charitable act within the contest time period, photograph the smile on your face after the act to exemplify the wonderful feeling it created, email in 50 words or less the good deed you completed (Example: Food Bank or Coat Closet donation, Mentor, Volunteer, Fund-raising for a great cause, etc)
When: Beginning at 12:01 pm Friday, July 29th , 2011 to 12:01 am August 15th, 2011
Where: Qualifying charitable events can be performed anywhere. However, the session awarded to the winner must be held within a 60-mile radius of Kingsland, GA
Why: Because it is the right thing to do; Because it makes the world a better place; Because we need to teach our children by example; Because someone needs you; Because it feels good


How: Become a fan of Haley Spiers Photography on Facebook and “Like” the page. Email your Goodwill Thrills entry description and photograph to haleyspiersphotography@gmail.com . Send your friends and family to Haley Spiers Photography to “like” your entry under the Goodwill Thrills album. The three submissions with the most “Likes” will become semi-finalists. A panel of judges will select the final entry from the three semi-finalists.


BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CONTEST: This is a Contest to be entered during the period commencing at 12:01 A.M., July 29, 2011, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M. August 12, 2011 ("Entry Period") for you as a Contestant to compete for the prize of a Photo Session and Image disc by submitting via email to haleyspiersphotography@gmail.com an entry and photograph expressing the details of your charitable effort.

Three (3) finalists will be determined by the highest number of Facebook “Likes” under an entry posted on the Haley Spiers Photography Facebook page in the album titled “Goodwill Thrills”. One (1) winner will be selected from the three finalists by an Administrator-selected panel of judges ("Judges"), applying the following judging criteria: 90% for the charitable effort and 10% for the actual submission photograph.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for this Contest, at the time of entering you must be: [1] submitter must be 18 years of age or older or provide written parental consent [2] accept the terms of use agreement.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, you may enter by agreeing to the Rules, following the entry instructions and emailing your entry to haleyspiersphotography@gmail.com .

REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: Each Submission should consist of the following elements concerning your charitable effort. [1] written description of not more than fifty (50) wordsdetailing your charitable act [2] a photograph of you depicting the feeling which the good deed left you [3] a written confirmation of your email address

Entries that do not conform to the above requirements will be disqualified. Limit one (1) Entry per person.

PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize: A photo shoot with Haley Spiers Photography and corresponding disc of 10-15 high resolution edited images. Winner's responsibility to provide their transportation, parking and additional expenses incurred to fulfill the winning submissions within the 60 mile radius of Kingsland, GA. No substitution allowed except, at Administrator's sole discretion. Photo shoot must be redeemed by August 31st 2012.

PROCEDURE/JUDGING/VOTING: All Entries must be received during the Entry Period. Entries will be judged by Judges, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the judging in this Contest. The Contest will be conducted in 1 round: On or about August 13th through August 15th, 2011, the Judges will apply the Criteria to select the Grand Prize winner from the three (3) Semi-Finalists from among all eligible Entries received.
